ppansyy-deactivated20140409 asked : aw crap, BART's still striking? I thought it would be over with by now.

right? it’s understandable that they want a raise or w/e but they’re hurting so many people in the process of getting what they want

Anonymous asked : Do you know if Bart will strike Monday.

I heard it was delayed for another 7 days but I’m not 100% sure

  1.  whatbindsyou said: yeah, it’s amazing. I grew up here, though, and I want to talk to people not from here about it cause it’s so personal for all of us in the bay who were around

I was born in the hospital Oscar was taken to, which is crazy to me, and I grew up here but I moved away in 2007 and moved back last summer. I remember hearing about the riots and being shocked that all this was happening in my hometown. I never thought of that but it would be really interesting to hear opinions from people who aren’t from here.

So has anyone seen Fruitvale Station yet? What did you think?

I just got back from watching it and wow. It was a really good movie and it had me in tears to be honest. I especially liked how it was just a really simple movie.

I live close to the Fruitvale station and although I didn’t live here at the time of the incident, it’s just strange knowing that something like that happened there.

Tell me your thoughts on the movie!
